The design process often begins with doodles. Doodling is about a wandering thought process, unconsciously resolving balance and harmony, shape and colour, contrasting elements… This process is ongoing in my work. When I move into different media, these present different possibilities. Some of my influences have been the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Art Nouveau movement, Hundertwasser, Gaudi and Klimt.
